This week was move up Sunday. With a new batch of freshman we knew we need to add a little excitement to the morning. We were also in the second week of our new series called The 9. We are diving deep into the 9 fruits of the Spirit and this week we were talking about kindness. So how do you combine a new group of freshman, excitement and kindness? You throw donuts!
It was great launching donuts from the stage at students. We've got some serious star potential. One kid caught a donut while falling back in his chair. If we had a video camera it would have ended up on Sports Center! It was a fantastic morning. The freshman class is amazing. Everyone from Junior High has told me about their faith, potential and leadership ability. I can't wait to see what God does in the next four years!
